Planter’s new campaign, The Power of the Peanut, is educating consumers about the nutritional value of this super nut with the help of the famous Mr. Peanut. Launched August 10th, the Power of the Peanut website features “successtimonials” in which people share their stories of the peanut’s power and its impact on their lives. Ken Padgett, the senior associate brand manager of Planters Snack Nuts said of Mr. Peanut, “in a way, [he] can elevate the ordinary. He does it in a fun, educational way, getting down to what each nutrient can do.”
