Dorm rooms are infamous for being too small and too cramped, but luckily for you and your acoustic needs, every dorm room has at least four corners. NineSixFive, a startup, has created top of the line speakers, called TipTops, that are conveniently shaped to fit in a corner with ease. The speakers utilize Bluetooth to play music, so no need for unsightly wires. They also use the surrounding wall to naturally amplify the sound. The designers, two Stanford engineering students, have also equipped the speakers with magnets in order to eliminate damage to the wall. TipTops are expected to be available early next year at a suggested retail price of $200. The product is made by students, for students, and is definitely worth checking out.
